We are hosting an information evening on ROCS and Finance on Tuesday 13th May. The event is aimed at farmers who have or are about to embark upon installing a wind turbine on their premises. The event is part of our ongoing support of renewable energy on farms across N Ireland.
Guest speaker for the evening will be Michael Harris of the Department of Enterprise Trade and Industry (DETI), who will outline the Renewable Obligation Certificates (ROCs) system and how this is a key element of any wind energy project. A number of financial advisors will also discuss what is required in order to attract finance to your project, what interest rates to expect and how best to obtain finance.
We will also take the opportunity to discuss our project management service, alternative finance models and how to optimise returns from your project via selling ROCS and your green electricity. A case study of a successful start to finish project will be illustrated and the key lessons from this project highlighted.
The event is focused at those with either a wind turbine installed or those farmers who have successfully obtained planning permission and a viable grid quote. The event will be held in the Conference Hall, Loughry College, Cookstown at 7:30pm on Tuesday the 13th of May. A fee of £10 per person attending will be charged at the door. There are limited numbers for the event. Booking is essential. If you wish to attend this event, please contact us.
